Client: If Not Now Digital
A digital activism agency who work on social and environmental campaigns.
The task:
Provide copywriting, social media and influencer marketing services for a range of campaigns and clients including WaterAid, Ecover, World Values Day and If Not Now Digital’s Twitter.
Approach:
I worked with diverse brand guidelines to offer creative copy including Digital Toolkits, influencer outreach messaging and social media captions for a range or organisations. See examples of this writing here.
I’ve built various influencer campaigns with If Not Now, including creating email/DM messaging, identifying suitable influencers for different brands, mobilising influencers to take specific actions for clients and maintaining relationships.
I’ve managed community interactions on several accounts across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn for clients during campaigns.
Results:
12.5% increase in Twitter followers in four months.
Positive sentiment analyses on client accounts.
Increased influencer participation in campaign launches and actions.
Client: Animal Rebellion
Environmental movement campaigning for a plant-based future.
The task:
Create a lead generation ad campaign to mobilise people for their September action, and optimised their crowdfunder messaging.
Approach:
I worked collaboratively to create a paid lead generation campaign on Facebook and Instagram. I created the copy for different audience segmentations, and advised on the best creatives. I assisted with creating the ads in Meta Business Manager and played a key role in monitoring the ads and making adjustments as needed.

Client: Viva!
UK vegan campaigning charity.
The task:
Manage digital communications for the charity as the Digital Communications Officer.
Approach:
I managed the charity’s social strategy and blog for two years while I worked here as the Digital Communications Officer. This involved building social campaigns, monitoring the inbox, recruiting guest blog writers and creating content (graphics, captions, blogs and reels).
Results:
127.5% increase in Instagram followers in two years.
Engagement increased by 79.3% on Instagram & 86.7% on Twitter.
77.7% increase in Facebook reach.
Client: Muscular Dystrophy UK
UK-based charity funding research and support for people living with muscle-wasting conditions.
The task:
Project manage and write the 21/22 Impact Report, and oversee copywriting at the charity during an interim period.
Approach:
I was the lead copywriter at the charity for six months and developed key messaging for the Christmas appeal, as well as writing blogs, press releases, and proofreading research pieces.

Tech and copywriting agency
The task:
Create copy for clients in the cloud computing, healthcare and sustainable tech sectors.
Approach:
I created copy for a range of clients and marketing materials including web banners, infographics, email marketing series, and LinkedIn ads.
Client: Karry’s Deli
Independent vegan deli based in Barry, Wales.
The task:
Help owner Karry reclaim admin rights on her Meta Business Suite.
Approach:
I used my knowledge of Meta Business Suite to reclaim Karry’s page, and remove past helpers that no longer help with the business.
Results:
Cleaned up admin access and page roles.
Karry gained a better understanding of this process from our shared screen sessions.
